Volunteered Out!

I survived the Fall Festival!! I was happy to have just enough volunteers to staff the Fall Festival at Connor and Lindsey's school. I'm glad that is over!!! I had just a few "no shows" and I was able to recruit people quickly to cover those games for a while, so everything ran smoothly! Last week sure was busy, so I'm glad to be able to relax a little more this week. Today, Isaac and I just relaxed most of the day. I never even got him dressed. He had a PJ day!

Connor is getting more and more into football these days. He is starting to understand the rules of the game and has many of the regular Colts players memorized. He was bummed that the Colts had a buy week this week. He woke up yesterday and said "It is Sunday today, right?" We told him yes and he replied "Yes, the Colts play today!" So Wayne explained that they didn't play this Sunday and he said "Oh, they have the Monday night game this week?" He was so funny!

We are getting goldfish this weekend for Connor and Lindsey. It's a long story related to us leaving Shelby in NC when we moved. We can't put it off any longer! Ha Ha! Lindsey is naming her fish Princess. Connor is naming his Manning after Peyton Manning.

Here are some pictures from before school. Lindsey has her new "Chocoholic" shirt on. It is the perfect shirt for her. Connor is posing with his new football which he still sleeps with every night. The bottom two pictures are of Isaac learning to feed himself. He's been a terrible eater lately, so I thought he may do better if I just let him feed himself. It's working. He's eaten more fruits and veggies in the past 2 days than he's eaten in the past 2 weeks. He sure is making some serious messes, though.
