Happy Holidays

Christmas at home was great this year. It was fun having the kids open their presents and then spend the day playing with all their new toys. I think they spent the entire day playing with these 88 cent recorders I got them as stocking stuffers. I'm glad they have stopped playing with those so much now. They were getting a bit overwhelming! Here are some Christmas pictures.

Christmas...take 4! We had our fourth and final Christmas celebration on Friday morning. My parents and their new puppy Daisy arrived here late Thursday night, so Friday morning was Christmas again. The kids got new bicycles and Isaac got a Radio Flyer Inchworm that is so cute. They got some other nice toys and clothes too. Daisy has been a really good puppy at our house. Isaac is a little afraid of her, but not too bad. She is a yellow lab. Yesterday, mom and I took Connor and Lindsey to see Alvin and the Chipmunks while my dad helped Wayne with some things we needed to do around the house. They are heading back home tomorrow. I'm so thankful that they traveled here this year. It was great having Christmas at home this year.

Earlier today, Connor and Lindsey put on a show for us. Lindsey sang four songs while Connor played the guitar I brought him back from Cozumel. It was cute!

Isaac started running a fever yesterday afternoon. I'll tell you...he runs fevers more than any kid I know! It was 103.4 at bedtime last night and up over 103 again this morning. We're giving him Motrin and Tylenol alternating every 3 hours to try and keep his fever down. I can tell when his fever starts to go up again because he is really fussy! He's actually playing right now, which he's done very little of today. Here is a picture from this morning.
Lastly, I CAVED!! Wayne has been wanting to buy another big screen TV for months...probably close to a year. We already have a 50 inch projection TV in the basement. He's been wanting a 50 inch plasma for the upstairs. Well, I've been telling him NO for months. He found a really good deal on one yesterday at Circuit City, so he's up there buying it now. I don't really want it, but whatever. I can only stand so much pressure!! Men and their toys...

God, I can relate! Mark so wants a big screen for the basement! We are going tomorrow to buy leather recliners for the living room, woohoo! I am sick of rocking Ryan in that darn glider and we both love recliners. Now, we just have to figure out what to do with our love seat.
Mark and the girls are at Alvin and the Chipmunks right now.
