Joys of Moving

I'm tired...

It's a lot of work getting ready to move. Our realtor was out a few days ago and gave us a few things to do, plus we had a few things we wanted to do before getting the house listed. So, this morning I took all 3 kids to the outlet mall to get new shoes while Wayne did some touch up painting at home. I figured it would be easiest for him to do this without Isaac being home to touch all the wet paint. Our trip to the outlet mall was chaos. We went to 2 stores and left after an hour. But, we ended up being gone a total of 3 hours which gave Wayne time to paint and we got home just in time to put Isaac down for his nap giving the paint another 3 hours to dry. So, it worked out good.

While Isaac napped, we were busy doing some work on the outside of the house and yard. I also finished up with some cabinet and closet organization. I think things are looking good. Now Wayne is going to do something in the basement. Apparently some floor joist isn't done right??? I have no clue, but it needs fixed before CAT sends the home inspector out for a visit. After this weekend, we'll need to give the house another good cleaning, which I've done about 3 times in 3 weeks and we should be ready to get the house listed.

We've been slowly telling our neighbors and friends the news. Everyone seems sad to see us go, which makes us feel good. We've made some great friends here and have wonderful neighbors.

We are having friends over tonight. I'm pretty tired, but we'll have a great time anyway.
