We're Moving...Again!

Yes, you heard that right. It seems like life has gone full circle. We are heading back to Peoria, IL.

The week before Christmas, Wayne interviewed for a job within CAT at one of their E. Peoria manufacturing plants. He formally accepted the job earlier this week. He got a promotion and will be a Group Manager on 3rd shift. It's going to be a big adjustment for our family, but 3rd shift is definately better than 2nd shift. His new boss told him he should only be on an off shift for less than a year. So, Congratulations Wayne. I'm very proud of him!

We are waiting to hear from Paragon, CAT's relocation company, so that we can get going with the moving process. Wayne starts in E. Peoria on Feb. 4th and it is a 90 minute drive from here. So, he wants to move as quickly as possible. He hopes to get us up there to buy a house within the next 2-3 weeks.

Connor and Lindsey took the news surprisingly well. They have already picked out new stuff for their bedrooms. We let them redecorate their rooms each time we move as a way to get them excited about the move. Lindsey picked out some really pretty girly bedding from Pottery Barn Kids and Connor wants a Colts room...of course! I was able to find him some nice stuff at Pottery Barn Teen. So, I ordered all of that yesterday because Connor's set is on back order.

Tonight, Connor and Lindsey are testing for their Green Belts in Karate. We are very proud of their progress!
