Obviously last night DID NOT go the way we had hoped. The Buckeyes came out so strong in the first quarter and fell apart in the second. LSU was just the opposite. I don't know much about the second half. When LSU scored at the beginning of the 3rd quarter to go up a 3 TD lead, Wayne abruptly turned off the TV and said "That's enough...We're going to bed." I just thought "okay." He had enough.
I had a rough time falling asleep after all that anxiety of the game. But, I finally nodded off only to be woke up to horrible thunder storms. Then, about 30 minutes into that, Lindsey came in afraid of the storms. I had her hop in bed with Wayne and I went and laid in her bed for a bit. After 15 minutes, she wandered back to her room and wanted to lay in there with me. A little time went by and the storms stopped, so I told her I was going to go back to my room. Well, as soon as I fell back asleep the storms started back up and Lindsey was back to my bed again. GRRR! I was so tired, so asked Wayne to deal with her and he got her settled back in her bed and she finally fell back to sleep.
To make matters worse, Isaac was up before the sun and was blazing hot. His temp was about 102. He got his 18 month shots yesterday afternoon - 2 of them, so I'm thinking it is from shots. However, he didn't get a fever after his 15 month shots and he had only 2 or 3 then. I do remember him having a severe fever after his 12 month shots, but I think he had 5 then. Who knows?? I told you last time that he runs more fevers than any kid I know. Usually, they are for no particular reason and last 2-3 days.
On the positive side, Isaac is now done with shots until he gets his Kindergarten shots. I'm thrilled!!!!!!!
Isaac is napping now and I'm trying to figure out what sizes my kids are going to wear this Spring/Summer. Gap has some clothes that are just irresistible right now and they always sell out so fast!
