SpongeBob

I am by no means a SpongeBob fan. I rarely let my kids watch it because I just don't like the humor in the show. SpongeBob and Bratz...we stay away from both of them around here. That's why I was caught off guard when Connor asked for a SpongeBob Valentine Box this year. I really think it has more to do with Will,a boy in his class, having a cool SpongeBob box last year. At first, I told him no way. But, as I thought more about it, I gave it. They kids will be going through a lot of changes with the move later this month and I'm limited on time with Wayne being in Peoria so much and SpongeBob seemed pretty easy to make. So, I spent about an hour today making a SpongeBob box. Connor was delighted when he saw it after school. Someday this week, I'll be making Lindsey's Butterfly Box.

Today was a pretty good day. Wayne is in Peoria and he met with our builder at the house this morning. He wanted Wayne's imput on the electrical in the basement and they discussed where to add the window in Connor's room so that we could put bunk beds in there. Our bedroom is painted now, so that is great. By the end of the week, the basement should be ready for drywall. I'm amazed at how fast the house is coming together!

I've got a sitter coming tonight so I can go out with my girlfriends here for the last time. I'm sure we'll have a great time, as always. Here are some pictures from today.
