What a cold! Lots of updates...

I think, or hope, I am starting to feel a little better today. I got more sleep last night than I have the previous few nights, so that's a plus! This has been one terrible cold. My throat is very sore...probably from breathing exclusively out of my mouth for the past several days. I'm able to breathe out of my nose some today, which is such a relief. I've been having pain on and off in my left ear, so I'm hoping it isn't infected. It's feeling better now than it did during the night. My bed is hysterical. Wayne makes me the best "sick bed" (as we call it) for when I have a cold. I think it's the engineer in him. He can prop me in an upright position and I am still very comfortable and can sleep. In my bed the past 2 nights, I've had 2 body pillows, 2 king size pillows and 6 regular pillows. It's like my own little nest! No way am I making my bed until I'm better because I don't want to mess up Wayne's arrangement!

I've been very happy for the slow real estate market this week. My house looks like a train wreck! I could never have potential buyers come through with it looking this way. Then again, the way I've felt the past few days...I wouldn't have wanted to leave home for buyers to come see it anyway. Wayne promised me he would help me get it back in showing order over the weekend. He left for Peoria again after the kids went to bed last night and he'll be back home late this evening. I'm so glad it is Friday and he'll be home the next two days!

GUESS WHAT....In exactly 2 weeks from today...the movers will be delivering our house hold goods to our new home!!!!!!! Wayne and I said last night, that we look forward to 3 weeks from now...when the move is done and we're mostly unpacked!!

I also want to very publicly thank my moving lifesaver...MARY! She is the most awesome friend ever. She's been great about helping us out with Isaac during our move. Thanks Mary for understanding our situation and offering to help us so much. I've called her with so many days to babysit lately that I'm starting to loose track. I have a feeling that Ryan (Mary's baby) and I are going to have lots of quality time to help make up for all Mary's help. I'm glad to pay her back!

Wayne went and registered Connor and Lindsey at their new school earlier this week. They are not going to be able to be placed in the same class when we move. This will be a first for them. Connor took the news remarkable well. However, Lindsey was devastated and cried for what seemed like forever. She has several sets of twins as friends at school, so I encouraged her to talk to them and see what it is like to be in separate classes. She and Connor are the only twins at their school that are in the same class. So, she did talk to one friend and she told Lindsey that it was sad at first, but not sad anymore. Lindsey said that made her feel a little better, but she is still sad and nervous. She'll be okay...I'll just need to spend lots of quality time with her in the coming weeks.

Better go...Isaac is turning into quite the bookwork lately and he wants to read!

No problem. I'm just glad you are moving back. Lindsey will get into the swing of things with no problem, I'm sure. The first grade classes have all their recesses, lunch, Wed. afternoon movie and gym together so she'll see Connor a lot during the day.
