Busy Morning

Today was a busy morning. I took the kids to school and planned to run to Walmart to get some groceries because my parents are coming this week and I finally sat down to plan some meals for them. Walmart was out of several things I needed, which seems typical at this Walmart, so then I had to run to Kroger. Isaac was very good in both stores, so that was nice. I never know with him. I came hope, dropped off our groceries and ran to the new fitness/community center here in town. Wayne and I really want to join, but Isaac is so resistant to going into the nursery at church that we don't figure we'll have any luck getting him in the nursery at the gym either. Isaac spent about 30 minutes in the nursery. I left 2 times for about 5 minutes each time and they would have to come get me. I was just sitting in the foyer outside reading a magazine because I didn't expect it to work out. The gal encouraged me to bring him back again on Thursday for another try. She said she's had kids like this in the past and by continuing to bring him, he'll stop. We'll see... I would really like to get him in the nursery at church at least. It's been almost 2 years since Wayne and I both sat in church together for an entire service!

Tomorrow we are supposed to start getting our irrigation system installed. We also have repair people scheduled to come fix all our household belongings that the movers damaged. I'm less than thrilled with the claims lady at the moving company. She has been very argumentative with us about a Terry Redlin print of ours. The movers busted the frame, shattered the glass and scratched the print in 5 places. They are going to pay us for the value of it, but we asked that they return the print to us. It's valueless now, but it has sentimental value to us. They are refusing to return it to us, so we are frustrated. Oh well...

My parents are coming to visit us on Thursday. We're really looking forward to having them come see the new house. The kids are SO anxious to see them.
