I'm Seeing GREEN!!

We've got grass! WOW - Sod is amazing...instant yard in 3 hours! We had both the front and back yards done so the kids will have a yard to play on during the summer. I'm a little nervous about caring for our new yard, so Wayne can take over that project. We still haven't a clue how to run our new irrigation system, so I think Wayne will be working on that tonight so we can start watering the yard either tonight or tomorrow morning. We do need to move a few pieces of sod around. They didn't go all the way to the back on the one corner...I think because they ran out. Then, on one side of the house, they went a few feet past the property line and on the other side, I'm not sure they went far enough. Oh well, it looks great and is a welcome sight! I finally feel like our house looks done. We only have a few minor things here and there to have finished or fixed. I'm thrilled!

We also had our front door painted yesterday. We went with black due to the black roof and fence we will have. We're not sure we like it, but maybe it's just that we aren't used to it. We're considering some black shutters??? Who knows??

Isaac seems to be feeling better today, but I can tell he still isn't 100%. He was very fussy after eating breakfast this morning and I wasn't sure he was going to keep it down. Luckily, he did. He did eat a small snack, but wouldn't eat any lunch. I'm not pushing him to eat right now...just letting him eat when he feels like it. Hopefully his belly will be feeling better again soon.
