This week has been busy, but fun. It's the first full week that the kids have been out of school. Lindsey started summer gymnastics on Tuesday and Connor is continuing on with baseball. He'll start football practice next month. Isaac is starting a toddler mommy and me tumbling class next week. I'm looking forward to doing that with him!
We've been spending lots of time outdoors and so far things are going well. We have a few kinks we need to work out such as a new allowance system and some new summer chores. This is the first time Connor and Lindsey have had set chores or an allowance, so they are kinda excited about it. They are thinking of things they want to buy with their saved money.
Wayne is back to working 12-13 hour days again like when we were in NC. We got a brief break from that during the past 18 months at his last job. Ugh! It stinks, but he explained to me this week exactly why he works these hours, so I kinda understand better now. It just makes for long days for all of us. At least he's doing a job he really enjoys. Tomorrow, I'm getting a much needed break from the kids. Mary and I are heading in to town to do some shopping. Yeah!!! I still have some decorating I'd like to get done in a few rooms.

We have really been enjoying our irrigation system this week! It's been so hot and humid! I've been turning it on for about an hour almost every day for the kids to play. Even our neighbors son is enjoying it. Here is a picture of the kids playing.

Wayne mowed the yard for the first time last weekend. While he was mowing, Isaac went and got our old junk mower and started pushing it around the yard. It was so cute!
