Excited!

Today should be a lot of fun. I got a sitter for my kids and Laura's girls and the two of us are going shopping and out to lunch. I can't wait! I needed to look for a few things for myself and had no desire to drag 3 kids out to do it.

This has been an extremely busy week around here. I'm beginning to forget what Wayne looks like as we've barely seen each other all week. He gets home, eats a quick dinner and then takes Connor and Lindsey to their VBS Sports program at church. He is a volunteer, so he stays the whole time and gets back about 9. I've been taking Isaac to the pool every evening because he's been so upset about Wayne leaving him behind. I think he's really missing Wayne. Last night, he was trying to play with some other dad at the pool. Isaac has always really liked men/guys better than women, so he needs his "guy time."

We have plans to stain our deck tomorrow, but I'm not sure if the weather will cooperate. Wayne wants to get it done and over with because it's going to be a real job to do since it's so large. He hoped to do it last weekend, but it was too wet. We've had so much rain this year.
