On The Go!

Today was one busy day! I woke up at 5:45 this morning to the sound of a loud thunk. At first, I thought someone was in my house, but then I realized it was storming really bad and what I heard were the patio chairs overturning on the back deck. We had some very strong winds!

The kids slept in late since it was so dark. Isaac slept until 8:30, which is unheard of for him! We got ready and dropped off Isaac at Wee Play at 9:30. I took the kids to the library, like I seem to do every Monday, so we could exchange books for the summer reading program. Then, we were off to their first swim lessons at 10:30. They did fantastic! They finished up at 11:20 and we headed straight to pick up Isaac because his program was done at 11:30. Then, we were off to get some burgers for lunch and head back to the pool. We swam until about 1:30. The kids both jumped off the diving board for the first time with no water wings. They were so proud and excited! We got home, put Isaac to bed and the rest of us showered and headed back out. Wayne worked midnights last night, so he was home with Isaac. I took the kids into town to run some errands and go to the dentist to get sealants put on their molars. Like I said...it was a busy day!

Tomorrow, we don't have much planned. The kids have swim lessons and I'm hoping to make it to the pool at some point. We have to spend some time in the afternoon waiting on Comcast to come. Little Rachel pushed a button on the remote over the weekend and now the closed caption won't turn off. It's not the actual TV closed caption...it's the closed caption through the cable box and no one seems to know how to get it fixed. Hopefully we'll get it worked out tomorrow because it's a little annoying. Oh little kids and the things they do to stump us adults!! :)
