Today was Connor and Lindsey's first day of Second Grade. Wow - 2nd Grade!! They are seriously getting too old!!!! Makes me sad. They were both excited and nervous about school today. Connor was up at the crack of dawn, talking nonstop, so I could tell he was nervous. It was kinda funny! He was worried about finding his classroom and not being able to remember his teachers name because it's a little hard to pronounce. I let them pick out whatever they wanted to wear so they would be comfortable and confident.
They only had less than 2 hours of school today, so they are both back home and both had a great day. They both like their teachers and seem excited about going back tomorrow, so that is great!
As expected, Isaac threw a big fit when the kids got on the bus. He threw a bigger fit when they got home and he was mad because he didn't get to ride on the bus at all. He'll get used to this again...I hope soon! We spent a lot of the morning outside playing. He kept calling for Nick, the boy next door. He seems to be missing him.
