Mr. Dan's Here!

The kids headed out this morning for their first full day of school. They were both very excited to go back. My plan worked out better today. I managed to keep Isaac in bed until after the kids left for school, so we were able to avoid that morning tantrum. So, we started the day off on a much better note. After Isaac woke up, he started down stairs, looked at me and said "Guys?", which is what he says when he's referring to both kids. I told him they were bye, bye's to school and would be home later. He looked at me like okay and went about his day.

I spent the morning getting ready for the kids birthday party on Saturday. I had a pinata to stuff and loot bags to fill. Then, Isaac and I went outside and caught up with Nick and his mom from next door. Isaac was thrilled to see him.

I got Isaac down for a nap and started working on dinner. Our friend, Dan, is in town from NC. Dan is one of our best friends we met when we were in Franklin. He also works at CAT, and he is here for a business trip this week. He's coming over tonight for dinner. We are so happy we'll get to see him! The kids call him "Mr. Dan" and they are anxious to visit with him tonight.
