Childhood Dream Come True

When I was a little girl, what did I want to be?? A bus driver, a zoologist, a teacher and.......A ROCKETTE!! It occurred to me as an early adolescent that I was never going to be tall enough to be a rockette, so I gave up quickly on my dream. However, I have always wanted to go to Radio City Music Hall to see them perform their Christmas Spectacular. Well, I'm not going to New York, but a touring group of the Rockettes is coming to our area and I bought tickets today for Lindsey and I to go watch the show. I'm so excited! Much to Wayne's amusement, I actually got teary eyed and had to call my mom when I first found out they were coming a few months ago. I marked my calender for when tickets would go on sale so I could be sure to get them right away. It will make a great girls night for Lindsey and I.

I finally finished up my new flower beds tonight. I'll try to take some pictures tomorrow so you can see the product of my back breaking work!! I'm so tired of hauling and spreading rock. That stuff is so heavy and I've unloaded about 60 bags of it in the past 2 weeks.
