Another Busy Weekend

Wayne and I started the weekend with a huge "to do" list. I'm happy to report that we got almost all of it done. We planted 2 new flower beds, got one completely finished and the other almost done. We finished staining the lattice on the deck, which was not a fun job. Then, we staked down our new trees so they don't bend over due to this crazy IL wind. We also got our yard work done for the week. I LOVE all our new landscaping. As soon as I get this other flower bed done, I'll have to post pictures of them along with our new trees.

Connor had his second flag football game on Saturday. They change positions throughout the season so each kid gets a chance at the popular spots. This week, Connor played Center, Nose Tackle, Safety and Running Back. He loves all the positions, so he's happy no matter where they put him.




Check out the video below. Connor is the Running Back and he runs back 5 yards and then forward about 10 yards for a gain of 5. Silly boy needs to run forward!!

Here are some pictures of the kids before church this morning. Mom and Dad - Does Lindsey's haircut look familiar? She asked me to put a barrette in each side. I had to laugh. For those who have no clue what I'm talking about...my dad did my hair that same way for school each day for years because it was the only hairstyle he could do and he was the one who got us ready because mom was out to work already.

Isaac was so sweet this morning. Every time Wayne would tell Isaac he looked nice or handsome, he would say "sissy." He kept looking over at her and wanting to hold her hand. I think he thought she looked pretty today.

Better go now. It's SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!! Gotta go watch my Colts!!! Woo Hoo!
