Isaac is finally starting to recover. As of yesterday, he was still running a temperature over 101 and that was with us alternating Motrin AND Tylenol. Plus, he's been on antibiotics since Friday morning. On Saturday, he woke up and all his sinus congestion had settled down in his chest. I knew that would eventually happen...it always does with him. So, by Sunday we started breathing treatments a few times a day.
Well, he woke up this morning with barely a temperature and he has kept it down under 100 all day with no meds. So, I think he's finally getting to the other side of this. He's still doing breathing treatments because his chest and cough actually sound worse today. He is very rattly sounding in his lungs and the treatments will take care of that and break that congestion up. So, hopefully by the time we leave for Ohio on Friday he will actually be healthy!!! Not sure I will be though. I seem to be catching his cold.
The weekend was okay. I took Mary out to dinner for her birthday on Saturday. It was hysterical. We ended up a bunch of places before eventually going to Arby's. What a birthday dinner! Each place was a 45 minute wait and we were both starving. Sunday I went Christmas shopping with Laura. I am just about done with my kids now, so that feels good. It was just nice to get out of the house away from the sickness for a while.

Emma has had over 101 on meds. all day. She has no other symptoms other than a headache. She'll be home again tomorrow.
