Last night, I took a cooking making class here in town. It was so much fun and really informative. I'm not the best cookie maker, so I learned a lot. Now, whether or not I'll be able to actually improve due to my class...we'll see... But, I'm feeling really motivated. Today, I spent the day making chocolates and one of the cookies we learned last night. I've got several more recipes to go. I'm hoping to make at least one type a cookie a day for the next several days so I'll have some goodies to share with others. I just hope they don't taste and look terrible!! I'm doing my best people, okay?! Ha Ha!!!!
I spent the morning trying to track down my new tires. I'm in desperate need of new tires for my van after sliding all over the road last week. Last Thursday, we started looking for new tires and apparently my van has some rare tire size, which I find odd since Honda Odyssey's are all over the place! The only one that Walmart carried online was $330 PER TIRE...no thanks! I called our local Walmart and they didn't have any in the size we needed. So, we ended up ordering them online. I am really anxious to get them put on my van and knew they were due to arrive via UPS yesterday. So, when they didn't arrive I got online last night to checking the tracking number. Imagine my surprised when they said they were delivered? So, I had to call UPS who gives me an address to a tire store, Neil Tire, where they delivered my tires. I called the tire store where I bought them to see why they were shipped there and they said they had no idea and had down to ship to my house. So, I called Neil Tire and they did in fact have my tires, but are missing a set they were expecting to be delivered yesterday. So, it appears UPS made the mistake. So, Wayne is heading to Neil Tire after work to pick up my tires so we can get them put on at Walmart. Last year we loose a 6 ft blind and this year we lose 4 tires. We have great luck with UPS!!!
Lindsey has gymnastics tonight and I'm taking Connor to the school book fair after I drop her off. I think I may take him to dinner first, just me and him. I don't do spend as much one on one time with him as Wayne does, so I thought tonight would present a great opportunity for some mom/son time. Lindsey is actually trusting us to pick out her book fair items without her...WOW!

I ran into your blog searching the internet for "making chocolates." I don't know how experienced you are with making candies, but if you want to learn more, there is an instructional DVD that could help you. Check out www.making-chocolates.com
