Happy Birthday & Half Birthday!

First - Happy 2nd birthday to my twin nieces, Sarah and Rachel! We love you both very much. Second - Happy 1/2 birthday Isaac. Today Isaac is exactly 2.5 years old. He got to take treats to school this week to celebrate his "half" birthday. He was so excited to share them with the class.

I've continued baking away today. I don't even know how many dozen cookies I made today...A LOT! I'm almost done, though. Tomorrow I think I'm going to do my cut outs and then all I will have left to do is icing! Yeah! Isaac loves helping me. He kept crawling up to the island in the kitchen saying "me some." He did amazingly well at keeping his little hands off my cookies!

My kids are getting old and perceptive. Lindsey just said to me "Mom, did you know that our Governor..you know...of Illinois...was arrested...or something...because he tried to sell a seat that didn't belong to him. It belonged to a President or something, but I'm not sure which one." Apparently she and her friends were discussing it on the playground yesterday.
