Flu for Isaac & Congrats Connor

Yesterday was mostly fun. Isaac and I went to Romper Room at the Park District again. We met Mary and Tiffany along with their boys. We had a good time. After getting home, I had about a million things to do around the house because I haven't been home much this week. It was a good afternoon/evening and then things took a turn. Isaac threw up in his bed shortly after going down for the night. YUCK! So, I gave him a bath while Wayne stripped the bed and started laundry. I got his bed remade and got him down for the night. Luckily he didn't get sick again. I've never had that happen before. My kids have always gotten sick at least twice before being done, so I was kinda surprised...happily surprised.

We've spent the day at home taking it easy today. Isaac seems to be completely better, but I'll keep him home all day tomorrow too. We have nothing planned, so it's not a big deal. Wayne and I are supposed to go to Married Life Live at church tomorrow night, so I'm hoping no one else gets sick. We had to cancel last time they had this event because Isaac was sick and we couldn't leave him with a sitter. I hope to get to go this time.

Also, a shameless brag...Connor was named Student of the Month at school today. He said he has no idea how he did it. Lindsey is under the impression that you have to help in the lunch room or somewhere else at school and earn tickets and enter a drawing and have your name drawn to get student of the month, but Connor said he didn't do any of that. He said "I just did good behavior." Regardless, I'm proud of him. Way to go, Connor!!

Connors comment needed to be on his blog. I have missed his quirky comments and I just KNOW they haven't stopped. Miss you guys and congrats to Connor too.

Congratulations to Connor. No drawing is done to pick student of the month, the teachers pick it themselves. They do give good behavior slips in the lunchroom for helping out so maybe that is what Lindsey was thinking of.
