A house is coming...

Today, I've been listening to the humming of an excavator next door. They are building another house. There has only been 2 houses on our road for the year we've been here...ours and one other. Well, today they started digging the foundation for a house on the lot right next to us. I have to admit...I have mixed feelings. Part of me is excited for another house, meaning less wind (hopefully) and new friends. The other part of me is a bit bummed to have to share the cul-de-sac with a bunch of construction vehicles for the next few months. I'm sure this house will be up in no time.

We've had a busy week. Monday, I took Isaac to Romper Room at the park district. It's loads of fun! Tuesday, he had school. Today, we had play group. Busy, busy!! I'm glad he's at the age where it's easy to be out and about. Tonight, Lindsey has gymnastics and I'm having dinner with Mary. That's always fun.

No big plans for the remainder of the week.
