Sorry!

Sorry about the lack of updates. Not a whole lot has been going on except trying to get everyone in the house healthy again. We're all doing good now...yippie!

So, let's see....what's been happening??!!....

I had a little overnight weekend trip. Laura and I left Friday afternoon to head to the Aurora/Naperville area. We spent Friday shopping at Ikea and a few local stores. We went out to dinner and then stayed overnight in a hotel. Saturday morning we went to breakfast and then spent the day at the outlet malls. We totally shopped till we dropped and then headed to a late lunch/early dinner. We were so tired on the drive back home. I'm sure we'll do it again, but maybe next time do a Saturday/Sunday trip so we don't have to drive back home when we're so tired from shopping! It was lots of fun, though. I got loads of great deals for the kids and I think I'm pretty much done shopping for spring/summer clothes.

Today has been a busy day. We headed out to church and came home and had lunch. Wayne was nice enough to take Connor to his basketball game (even though it was my turn) while I stayed home with Isaac. Most of his games seem to fall during Isaac's nap time, so we alternate who goes to the game. So, I stayed and took a nap while Isaac slept. Right after naps, we had small group. This was our first lesson for our group based on the movie Fireproof. I really enjoyed the study and look forward to meeting again in 2 weeks. We headed out for Mexican for dinner and that was about it.

I think I may take Isaac out to play at the park district building tomorrow for something to do. He's getting serious spring fever and needs some room to roam!
