The backsplash is DONE! Wayne sealed it today. It looks awesome. I'm really proud of how well Wayne did. He's so handy!! I can tell that these rolling layoffs could get expensive. He's already wanting to find a new project. Today, he said he wanted to turn our covered porch into a 3 season room. We've discussed making it a screened in porch, which would be fairly easy, but I don't really want to do a full blown 3 season room. That would include windows, siding, drywall, flooring...etc... No thanks! So, I'm going to sit down with him later and find some realistic projects that aren't going to cost us a fortune. He just doesn't seem to know how to just relax. This is only his first of eight weeks that he will have off this year, so I need to come up with a long "honey do" list. :)
This morning, we took Isaac to school and ran some errands. Our builder is rebuilding our house in another town, so he took a drive out to see it. He had previously asked us for suggestions on things we would change. So, he was excited for us to come see the house and give him feedback. We love our house, but there are always a few quirky things that a person would want to change. I loved the changes that he made to the house. It's going to be great!
Here are some pictures of the tile project. Yeah - it's done!

Again, it looks awesome! Wayne did a great job. I can totally understand Wayne being bored. That happens at our house too. I know that when one project ends Luke will be looking for the next one, lol.
It looks really great. Wayne did a super job. If he runs out of things to do just send him to me, I have a LONNNNNG list. Love you guys.
I have a "honey do" list for Mark, it's only got one thing on it, "take care of our kids!" Ha.
