Weekend Update

What a fabulous fall weekend we had here in mid-July?!?! I'm not a huge fan of the heat, unless I'm swimming, so I was thrilled to be able to open up the windows and not be roasting hot. We had a nice weekend at home. Saturday morning we ran to Target and then Wayne headed out golfing with a friend while the kids and I relaxed at home. Last night, we went to our neighbor's 3rd birthday party and that was fun. The kids had a great time. Isaac sang happy birthday to his friend after practicing it all morning. It was cute.

Today, I got up early and ran a few errands before church. After church, I took Connor and Lindsey to see Ice Age 3. We wanted to see the 3D version and didn't think Isaac would be willing to keep the glasses on to enjoy the movie, so Wayne brought him home for his lunch and nap. This afternoon, we played outside, talked with the neighbors and Wayne washed the cars. I got most of the kids closets cleaned out of the fall clothes they won't be able to wear this coming year, so now I need to get started on ebaying. Ugh! I hate doing ebay anymore, but it's so worth it. I'm always glad I did it when the money starts rolling in...

Tomorrow, Connor has his first Orthodontist check up. Wayne is heading out golfing with his co-workers. Tomorrow starts his 3rd week in a row of rolling layoffs. We are going to miss him terribly when he goes back to work next week. He'll have been off most of the month of July and it's really been a lot of fun!
