Surprise!!

My parents rock. They surprised me today and sent me cookies from a bakery back home. I LOVE THEM!! I had one for lunch...yummy. Thanks Mom and Dad...it meant a lot to me.

Last night was open house at school for Connor and Lindsey. They both had some great things to show us in their classes. We heard nothing but wonderful things about each of them, so that was great.

Isaac has missed the last 2 days of preschool this week. He seems to have come down with my cold from last week. Although, I'm happy to report that he seems to be feeling a little better today than yesterday. His fever seems to be gone and he's not at stuffy as he was. So, maybe he'll have a good weekend after all.

This weekend seems to be pretty busy. We have piano tonight and then I'd like to clean either tonight or tomorrow morning. Connor has a football game tomorrow afternoon. Sunday we start our fall small group for church. We are doing a parenting topic this time around. It's Essentials of Discipline by Focus on the Family. I'm really looking forward to it.
