First Christmas Gift!

Connor and Lindsey got their first Christmas wish this morning....they got their expanders off!!! They are so happy. Connor did really well and was very brave. Lindsey was brave, but she had a hard time with it. The glue seemed to be stuck better and it required a lot more tugging and bleeding. Poor girl was in tears the whole time. I felt bad for her because it's not like her to cry in front of other people. Then, they had to do dental impressions again, which Lindsey was having severe anxiety about. She hates this part!! It took 5 tries to get a good impression on her, but we were glad when they were done. We go back this afternoon to pick up their new retainers. They have to were them 24/7 (except when eating) for the first month or so and then just wear them when they are sleeping. They look forward to the just sleeping part.

We are spending our weekend getting last minute holiday preparations done. We have more cookies to bake for the kids to decorate, I need to clean the house and get groceries for the company coming on the 26th and we have a very important movie to go see. The kids have been waiting for MONTHS for the new Alvin & the Chipmunks movie to come out, so I'm hoping to take them either Wednesday or Thursday to see it.

I'm trying to get the video from Isaac's church Christmas program on here but I'm having difficulties with it...not sure why because I got others on here last week. UGH!! Anyway, Hopefully I'll get it figured out soon.
