Lots to Update

Sorry, I haven't posted in a week now and I have lots of updates. Since my last post...the Buckeyes lost the National Championship, Lindsey started Karate, Isaac turned 7 months, Wayne went on another business trip, Lindsey lost another tooth, Isaac talks, Lindsey was student of the week, Isaac crawls (sorta) and we had visitors for the weekend! Man, what a week!

Where to begin...the Buckeyes...let's not even go there. What's done is done.

Lindsey started Karate last Monday. Let's just say...SHE LOVES IT! She had the best time and can't wait to go again tomorrow. Last night, she had her second visit from the tooth fairy as her second bottom middle tooth came out. The new tooth has already broken through the gum and should be in place soon. Lindsey was student of the week this week at school. She took her most prized possession to school with her...her tag collection. Oh yes, she collects tags. Price tags, mostly, but any cardboard tag will do. She started this collection when we moved and loves showing it to everyone. Last week, her teacher, her teacher's husband and a classmate all brought tags to school to add to her collection. What an odd thing to collect.

On Thursday, Isaac turned 7 months. Where does time fly? He weighs 20 pounds 6 ounces and is still 27 inches long. He's such a cutie. He is doing a very good job getting from here to there. He's not crawling in the regular way, yet, but he is definitely making it where he wants to go. He looks like an inchworm. He is saying two words. "Ma ma or Mom Mom" and "Da Da".

Wayne headed back up to Peoria last week for a training session. He was happy to be back home on Friday night. It's always hectic around here for me when he is gone. Mostly just trying to get everyone to bed. But, we survive. All 3 kids go to bed around 7, so it's a challenge to nurse the baby and get him down for the night and do a story with Connor and Lindsey and get them tucked in for the night. They are reading so well now, that they have been reading the bedtime stories, so it takes a bit longer. I'm so proud of them at how well they read!! They've come so far.

Laura and Eric came down from a quick overnight trip with the girls. It was great to see them. The girls were a little bigger than last time I saw them, but not much. They are just adorable and we can’t wait to see them again.

Better go – here are pictures that the girls and Isaac had taken a few weeks ago. So Cute!!
