Yesterday, my family celebrated a delayed Thanksgiving. We had turkey and all the trimmings. The kids had such a great time! We also started decorating the house for Christmas. We got about half the outside done and all of the inside done except the tree. I think I'm going to wait until just before Christmas to put the tree up this year because I don't want to battle Isaac everyday!
Saturday, I took Lindsey to get her haircut. We got it cut short again in a stacked bob. It looks really cute. This is the first time she's had her hair layered and it looks cute! She wanted to me to do it nice today for school. She was so afraid her hat would mess it up.
Today, I took Isaac out to do some Christmas Shopping for Wayne. He was SO very well behaved. He never has been a good shopper and today he was awesome! I was so happy. I even got to try on some new things for myself. I've had a gift card from my birthday that I've been carrying around for months, but every time I go to the mall I end up leaving with nothing because he just won't cooperate. But, today he was great. I managed to get Wayne just about done and I'm hoping he likes his gifts. He is really picky, so who knows if he'll like what I picked out...
We were just about done with our shopping when Wayne called to see if we wanted to meet for lunch. We try to meet every few months, so it was fun. We went to O' Charley's for their soup and salad lunch. It was yummy! Isaac was really good at lunch too.
Isaac fell asleep on the way home and is upstairs napping now. I just finished putting away all our goodies and I'm heading to the sofa to watch some TV and relax. I don't have to cook tonight because we have tons of leftovers!!!

Our new stockings! I have wanted the embroidered stockings from Pottery Barn Kids for several years now and I finally bought them after Christmas last year. I love them! We got the matching tree skirt too.
