Back Home & Run Down

I took a flight back to IL early Saturday morning. I'm happy to report that it looks like my Grandma is going to pull through! She was so sick when I first got home last week and not doing much better when I left. I said goodbye to her and told her what she means to me before coming back home and it was such a hard thing to do. Amazingly, she is now getting stronger and better each day and mom thinks she's going to get past this and recover. Her ticker must be stronger than anyone thought. Thanks again to Mary & Laura for helping with my kids while I was away.

Wayne and I spent the remainder of our weekend working in the garage. Wayne put epoxy down on the floor and we bought some nice, new cabinets. It looks so nice and clean in there. Hopefully Wayne will be able to keep it organized now. Our garage has always been a disaster zone!!

I'm not feeling so great today. My throat is covered in puss (too much info, I know) and I've got a massive headache. Although, I've not let it stop me as I've spent all morning cleaning the house. I even mopped the garage floor...yes, you heard right...who mops the garage??? ME! I'm exhausted now and Isaac is napping, so I'm going to relax and watch some of the season finale's I tivo'd while I was gone. Tomorrow we are showing the house, so I wanted it to look nice. No...it's not for sale. Our builder is bringing a couple through who want to see some homes he's built.

Tomorrow is Connor and Lindsey's last full day of school. They go next Monday just to get report cards, which I think is weird. I guess it's an IL thing. In OH, they always mailed them. We are taking them out for dinner tomorrow night to celebrate.

I will try to get some pictures up of the kids soon. I know it's been so long since I've posted any.
