Time for a change

I thought Connor was finally better yesterday until he took his shirt off for a haircut last night and saw he was covered in a rash. It was all over his back and chest. I was pretty sure it was not antibiotic related as he has been on this antibiotic many times. So, I kept him home again today and put in a call to the doctor first thing this morning because the rash was still there when he woke up. I called at 9 AM. Called again at 1 PM when they said "oh yeah, the doctor has a few more questions for you and we forgot to call you and ask you them" and FINALLY got a call back from them at 4:45 PM. That is unreasonable to me. The last time they called, they told me they were sure it was antibiotic related and they would just call in a new prescription. So, I told them I gave him his dose of meds again today and his rash seemed to be clearing up now. So, if it was antibiotic related, it shouldn't be going away...right?!? The nurse seemed stumped. I told her fine, I'll try another med even though I disagree with them, but when I went to Walmart tonight to pick it up...THEY NEVER CALLED IT IN!!! So, we're done with this doctors office. Wayne and I will probably stay there since we rarely need to go, but the kids are going somewhere else.

So, Connor's rash seems pretty cleared up this evening, so I'm sending him back to school tomorrow...unless he has a rash again in the morning. Hopefully he can attend some of his last week of school.
