Friday Update

Lindsey made it back to school on Wednesday. I'm so glad she is feeling better. Man, that was one terrible flu bug and I'm hoping it stays away. Three of us have had our flu shots already. I think I may take Lindsey after school today to get hers and Isaac has an appt. next week. After hearing of the Swine Flu deaths of two 12 year old girls this week, I feel incredibly blessed that Lindsey made it through without complication. We still do not know if she suffered from Swine Flu or Seasonal Flu, but we're still grateful for her health!

We want to wish our neighbors CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of their son. He was born on Tuesday and we are anxious to meet him!! I showed the kids his picture this morning on the blog and we all thought he was SO CUTE!!!!! Lindsey was begging me again this week to please give her a baby sister. I said to her "Lindsey, don't you remember what Isaac was like as a baby?" She said "They can't all be that bad." It totally cracked me up. Sorry Lindsey, this baby making machine is officially closed.

Speaking of the little devil....here is a picture of Isaac from earlier this week. Please ignore his awful hair. We are attempting to grow it out and we're in that ugly phase. Plus, this was after naps, so he has terrible bed head. He's doing his favorite thing....eating a wolipop. Yep, that's how he says it. Too cute!

I've been struggling with a big decision this week regarding Isaac's preschool. I swore I would make up my mind yesterday, but I never did. I *think* I'm leaning towards just leaving him where he is and hoping it gets better as the year progresses. However, I'm not 100% positive of this decision. Wayne is off work all week this week and I'm going to have him come with me each day to drop Isaac off and pick him up and see what he thinks and then we will decide for good if we are going to keep him at his current school or go back to his school from last year.

Are you actually going to grow it out long? I'm trying to decide what to do with Ryan's hair. Today it looks perfect as it was combed before bed, but some days, I just want to buzz it all off again. I think I might cut the back and sides shorter and leave the top longer maybe. Who knows.

I have no idea. I'm just going to grow it until I can't stand it and then decide what to do. He was supposed to get a haircut 2 weeks ago, but then I changed hairdressers and cancelled the appt.
