Cooking Day

Well after all the excitement of Mothers Day I had hoped the rest of the family would be clear from illness. However, that didn't occur. On Wednesday, Isaac started with strep throat. We got him on antibiotics by mid day and so he was feeling pretty good by mid day Thursday. Unfortunately, he missed his end of the year preschool program on Thursday. He was pretty disappointed.

On Friday, he and I had a baking day. Our small group had a pot luck dinner on Saturday night, so I had lots of cooking to do. We made cookie bar brownies, cheesecake, friendship bread and then got grapes and pineapple cut and cleaned. We were busy for several hours, but he enjoyed helping out.
