Isaac's preschool class had quite the Thanksgiving feast this year. Each child invited 1-2 people to come and join them that day. The children got to pick what they wanted to bring, so it was an interesting feast. We had apples, bananas, grapes, cheese, cookies....lots of cookies, crackers and various other foods. The teacher made turkey, but that was the only traditional thanksgiving food we ate. It was fun! The kids sang some songs and did a few finger plays before we sat down to eat. As always, Isaac was just thrilled to have me there. I'm so thankful to be able to be an involved parent and always get to attend these types of events.
